I read an article today about "Yahoo" being a popular search on Google Trends. I tried it out and found something interesting to me - who is searching for chickens. For all of the discussion about Chicken Flu, Americans seem to be searching more for "Chicken Coop"! Looks like at a rate of 2 to 1! (Click on the regions tab.) Australians are also looking for "Chicken Coop" more, but it seems to be likely due to the chicken coop village article. By contrast the Brits are searching slightly more for "Chicken Flu" than "Chicken coop".
Now the question is "why?". Why are they searching for coops, not the flu? Do I dare hope it is because chickens are catching on?
